Tuesday Class

Our first card was the lovely bee card that I adapted for my Valentine's card for Martyn, some of the ladies made it into a Happy Birthday card.  This is actually a retired stamp but I wanted a bee theme and as this has a matching framelet we thought it would save on time fussy cutting them all out.  A simple window and embossed folder behind made it look like the bees were flying round the hive and the added red hearts (old mini punch set or old Owl punch) made it pop.

Our second card was made with one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets which is really detailed such a lovely stamp.  After making the background stamps on the Bermuda Bay card the stamped image was made 3D with the super Glitter embossing paste which was pushed through the stencil mask to create this wonderful patturn over the stamped image.  This was then simply layered onto the card to finish.

My Upline the wonderful Monica Gale did a You Tube demonstration with the masking technique using the glitter embossing paste and she sprinkled Brusho on at the top before she pushed it through which made it a rainbow effect oh my it looked fabulous.

Our last card (saved until last incase we all got messy lol) was the fabulous Brusho that Stampin' Up! have started selling and I am a little bit addicted.  The set of 3 cards were my samples to show different colour choices and the other cards above were some of my ladies creations which looked just super.

We had a birthday girl at class and here is a picture of the lovely Eileen eating some of her Birthday Cake x
