Tuesday Class

The first card was simple to stamp up and the finished bouquet looked super on the card and looks really fancy.  The greeting is simple but quirky and I like the way you could do random ages not just the special ones.  My ladies had a quick gander round their diaries and facebook to 'age' their friends and family's upcoming birthdays to get the right age lol.  I love that the numbers have a matching framelet set as when I made my sample I had not bought the framelet and actually cut mine by hand! glad I now have the set which is quick to cut out and looked great.

Our second card was a different shape from the usual as I folded a sheet of A4 card lengthways to make a long slim card for a change and it looked good with all the stamps and greeting stamped up.  We laughed at how many different stamps and blocks we had used today with the cards made the acrylic blocks box was nearly emptied twice this class.  The birthday message filled the card and the little stamps from the tag stamp set made cute additions to the gaps.  The DSP was the new incolour 12x12 sheets that look lovely as a layer behind the stamping card.

Our last card was made using the lovely Delightful Daisy stamp set and punch and I made 2 different styles one as a notecard and the other as a larger C6 card with the daisy 3D using 2 punched flowers and colouring with sponge daubers to make it pop on the card.  My ladies enjoyed seeing the picture of the flowers build up with the different flower stamps layered up on the card and it looked a very pretty finished card to send out to someone.  The first two pictures are my samples and I took pictures of my ladies creations to see how we all differ with our stamping and colouring and they all looked super. (2 have left off the greeting to be added once decided who to send to). My other ladies could not attend class today as one was poorly Get well soon Debbie. x and Eileen was celebrating her husband Ray's birthday with her family.. Happy Birthday Ray. x
